406 Stock Car motor. GM block (4.145 bore) with splayed main caps. Front and rear caps
are nodular. Champ pan and Melling oil pump. Lunati solid lifter cam. Ohio 4340 48 lb
crankshaft. 6” Oliver rods (just under 600 grams). SRP 4032 flat top pistons. Drat Platinum 200
runner heads, 51.7 cc. 13.25 to 1 compression with a .041 gasket and 9.007 deck height. 8 1.6
Comp and 8 1.5 Erson roller rockers. Tall poly locks for stud girdle. Fresh Crane valve springs.
Heads originally purchased complete from JR Motorsports. Edelbrock 2701 intake. 7” Pioneer,
SFI Harmonic Balancer. SA Gear timing gear set with a 2 piece timing cover. Fel-Pro intake and
head gaskets. Short block has 28 nights since new (except for the rods). Heads have around 70 nights on them. Would consider selling it less intake, oil pan, pump & pickup tube. Will be going in a USRA stock car in the next couple of weeks if it doesn’t sell.
