FASTRAK Northeast DIRT LATE MODEL TOUR Schedules Additional $5,000 to win Event!!

(Carnesville, Georgia) – What a year to be involved with the FASTRAK SWEENEY CARS CHEVROLET Northeast dirt late model tour. It all started back at East Bay Raceway Park in Florida at the WINTERNATIONALS with a 3 day National Shoot Out of the STARS in the FASTRAK Regions from across the Country. Now the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Drivers, Teams prepare for another $5,000 to win event that has been scheduled for the FASTRAK teams giving crate late model racing in that region one of their biggest paydays not to mention getting the chance to “size up” their brethren from the Southeast and the Great Lakes Regions in preparation of the upcoming WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
The Inaugural WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in 2012 featured a Thursday night practice in which 83 cars were present for just a practice night. By the end of the October weekend of the event there were an incredible 186 entries featuring 21 heat races, 11 B Mains and 4 feature events. This bottom line no doubt set FASTRAK apart as having the “Crown Jewel Event” in crate late model racing.
Now the newly sanctioned County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina will host its first ever FASTRAK Racing Series Touring event at the 3/8th mile speedway nestled off Interstate 95 on September 20th and 21st. They have stepped it up even more to make it a $5,000 to win NATIONAL EVENT as well. “We are super excited about having this event at County Line Raceway” said Steve Summerlin of the speedway. “FASTRAK late model racing has set the bar for the other crate late model sanctioning bodies throughout the nation and our fans are already excited about this event. The phones are ringing from both fans and sponsors wanting to be involved and we just announced it a couple of days ago. This is going to be HUGE”!!
“I personally can’t wait” said Brian Haynes of FASTRAK. I’ve been to County Line with our sister series the ULTIMATE Super Late Models and even then we talked about how great the FASTRAK late models would be at County Line Raceway. Now it’s a reality as we are headed that way and in big fashion as the $5000 to win event will be one of the largest paydays of the year for ALL REGIONS”.
There is a Tentative Open Practice of Friday September 21st. This will give the FASTRAK Sweeney Northeast Teams and the other regional competitor’s time to shake their cars down. Then Saturday night they hit the track in a National event format with – Hot Laps, Qualifying, Heats, Consi and the 50 Lap A-Main Feature paying a cool $5 Grand.
