What would not having enough LR drop do vs to much drop?

Depends. Too much can cause a tight condition due to excessive thrust angle or it could cause a loose condition due too excessive rear roll steer.

The important thing is to limit it with a chain hooked to the axle tube. Do not rely on your shocks to limit travel.

What about not enough drop? What will the car do?

Just the opposite. You may have trouble hooking the car up. If you do, you may lack enough rear steer to roll the corners quickly. You can get the same result on these cars with a lot of different combinations. They are complex machines.
