I recently purchased a used bottom end, and it has straps on the main caps. I believe the strap kit is from Esslinger, but I'm not sure. I have a stock front sump oil pan with a kit from Esslinger welded in it, and it won't fit because of the straps being to tall. Does anyone know what oil pan I need? Will the Canton or Kevko front sump pans work?

Thanks,
Aaron

Save yourself a little money and modify the pan you have. I'm assuming it is hitting at the back where the pan is shallow.

Foghorn - Yes, it is hitting on the shallow part of the pan at the #4 main cap. I'm thinking we are going to modify our pan.

kaaaracing - Can you take a look at the Kevco pan and let me know what the shallow part of the pan looks like? Like does it still look stock, or has it been modified? If it is the same as a stock pan that that wouldn't work for me either.

Thanks for your help!
