New Richmond, WI (July 23, 2013): The drivers for the 2013 edition of the FANSFund are now set after the FANSFund team spent the past week contacting drivers and car owners to obtain their commitment to come to this year’s USA Nationals. The FANSFund invited 14 drivers (based on voting) in two categories: Eight Regular FANSFund drivers (drivers that have never been to the USA Nationals or have not been there for at least the past 2 years) and Six All Star drivers (these are drivers that have been voted into the FANSFund in the past that FANS wanted to see come back).
Leading the way in the regular FANSFund driver category is the 99 of Clay Fisher from DeWitt, AK followed by the c8 of Timothy Culp, West Monroe, LA; the 3 of Brett Swedberg, Shawano, WI; 21d of Dan Stone, Thompson, PA; b12 of Kevin Weaver, Gibson City, IL; another pair of 99’s with the father/son team of Donnie Moran(99) and Devin Moran(99m), Dresden, OH; and 00 of Jesse Stoval, Galena, MO.
In the FANSFund All Star category, last year’s top vote receiver the 18 of Ross Camponovo from Clarksdale, MS led the way followed by another 18 of Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth, Northport, AL; the 37 of Jared Hawkins, Fairmont, WV; 15 of Nick Anvelink, Bonduel, WI; 32 of Bobby Pierce, Oakwood, IL; and the 49 of Jonathan Davenport from Blairsville, GA.
Each of the 14 drivers will receive at least $1,200 of financial support from the FANSFund for participating in this year’s USA Nationals. The drivers and their crews are also invited to attend the annual FANSFund luncheon on Saturday August 3rd at 11:00 AM where FANS that donated at least $25 will have the opportunity for a personal meet and greet with the drivers they voted in. FANS that attend will also receive a FANSFund t-shirt and will be eligible for other door prizes.
A huge Thank You to all the FANS and Sponsors that have supported us! Although voting has ended, donations can still be made online at: www.FANSFund.com/donations or by clicking on the Donate tab from the home page, where all the information you need to donate and vote can be found. Voting has ended but donations will be accepted through the end of July.
