Henry Cooper Claims Pair of Top Fives; Jackson Up Next
Star, Mississippi (07/24/13) – Team Country Pleasin' and Henry Cooper are preparing to return to action this weekend on the heels of their best outings of the year in their #14 Team Country Pleasin/Warrior/Vic Hill Racing Engine Super Late Model.
After almost a month away from the driver's seat Henry Cooper returned to action over the July 12th-13th weekend with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models.
The weekend opened on Friday night at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park, and via preliminary action Henry locked into the 2nd starting spot for the main event. He would race in the top five throughout the feature before recording a 4th place finish at the checkered flag.
Saturday evening took the team to Jackson Motor Speedway for the $2,500-to-win, Doyle Lott Memorial. Cooper qualified fastest in his group before finishing 2nd in the dash to earn the 4th starting spot for the 50 lap finale. For the second night in a row Cooper raced in the top five during the feature on his way to a 4th place finish behind race winner, Ray Moore, Chris Wall, and Neil Baggett.
Overall it was a great weekend for Henry and the entire Country Pleasin' Team.

This Saturday, July 27th the team will resume action with the MSCCS Super Late Models with a trip to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for another $2,500-to-win race. For more information on the event please visit www.JacksonMotorSpeedway.net .
