FASTRAK Northeast King Set to be crowned as Inaugural Summer Sizzler Triple Crown Debut’s in the Northeast This Weekend

(Carnesville, Georgia) – Just as the NASCAR Trucks made history Wednesday night at Eldora Speedway. With former FASTRAK Competitor Austin Dillon taking the win in the "Mud-Summer Classic". History is set to be made this weekend for the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division on July 26th at Raceway 7, July 27th at Marion Center Speedway and July 28th at Eriez Speedway. FASTRAK Northeast Drivers, Teams and Fans are hyped and waiting anxiously for the Inaugural FASTRAK “Summer Sizzler Triple Crown”.
Teams are reminded again that this event is about prestige, kind of like the “Kings Royal” at Eldora for the Sprint Cars or the “WORLD 100” for Late Models. Each of these events yes will be point races for the 2013 FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division Championship. However in addition, as customary by the series, a special award is being created for the driver with the highest point total over the course of these three race events. A championship presentation is scheduled for Eriez Speedway in Pennsylvania on the Sunday where we’ll officially crown the Inaugural FASTRAK Northeast Triple Crown Champion.
The Triple Crown Champion will be recognized with a crown, scepter and cape presentation. Most of all they are being awarded the massive 60 pound “Triple Crown Cup Trophy” as being truly acknowledged as royalty to the FASTRAK family winning this prestigious event. On behalf of the series, the tracks, and the teams, we invite you to celebrate this weekend with us for the 2013 FASTRAK Summer Sizzler Triple Crown in the Northeast.
Some of the most intense racing action witnessed all season with the “best of the best” in dirt pro late models will take place in the FASTRAK Northeast Triple Crown. The format is unique in itself as they are running in a mini-series point’s battle on 3 different configured in length dirt clay ovals. Now for the first time ever in the Northeast United States the drivers of the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division will have their shot at it.
Historically, the annual FASTRAK Triple Crown has routinely seen an exceptional brand of close and intense racing in all 3 events whereby, race fans are the winners. FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Pro Late Model teams throughout the Northeast are preparing for this first ever weekend extravaganza. The only question remaining is who will be the heir to the throne as FASTRAK Northeast’s first Triple Crown King??
