Could anyone tell me which would be the best fuel pump and regulator to run on a 604 with a quick fuel carb? Thanks

These will work great and are very affordable.

agree with outlaw on the pump but not the regulator

use the 11 PSI Pro Cam pump and holley regulator 12-704

the aeromotive regulator listed by outlaw is fabulous in all gas applications but lacks flow over 6000rpm for ethanol use

the holley 12-704 has larger ports and will handle the increase in flow required-----the regulator is a little bulky in size but works well

How about a fuel pressure bypass?

bypass type regulators are fine but not necessary for e-85 application

small ports on a bypass regulator will NOT starve engine for fuel because everything is in reverse on the regulator side---(fuel is not flowing thru the regulator to the carb instead it is releasing unneeded fuel back to the cell)

on crate cars the only time we use bypass type regulators is with some oxygenated gasolines that have a very low flash point and the bypass system helps prevent vapor lock-----this is not the case with e-85
