Pull bar is 12 inches above center line of axle, about 18* angle.
Car seems to loose traction way to quick, it hooks then spins the tires.
Will less angle help? maybe 10 inches on rear end?

those numbers look ok... 10 " to 13 above axle centerline..... your right in the range... but 18* is a least amount, med to slick tracks, esp stop and go type........ 18* to 24* is std range... What spring or bushings ?

I think most are around 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 from top or rear housing. 18* does not sound like too much. The more angle the quicker it will bite but loose traction faster.
Confused?

A couple of other things that affect it are the length and mounts in front or behind the centerline of the axle.

Sounds like it could be a preload issue. JMO
