ERIEZ SPEEDWAY HOST NIGHT 2 OF THE SWEENEY CARS FASTRAK LATE MODEL "TRIPLE CROWN"

(Hammet, Pennsylvania) - Eriez Speedway will host night 2 of the FASTRAK LATE MODEL "TRIPLE CROWN" as the originally scheduled night 2 was rained out. That will now make Marion Center Speedway become Night 3 and final night of the TRIPLE CROWN.
"The TRIPLE CROWN will quickly become one of the most prestigious events in the Northeast "said Eriez Speedway owner Bob Rohrer. "FASTRAK continues to get it right by bringing events like the TRIPLE CROWN to the NE Region. It's things like this that FASTRAK understands about promoting and will continue to grow FASTRAK. Stan Lester and I had a a interesting conversation last night about our big upcoming $5000 to win National event and things are about to get exciting. Some of the teams from the South are already talking about coming up for the show so we look for one of the best races of the year right here at Eriez Speedway".
Last time the FASTRAK Late Models were at Eriez. Max Blair won the event with Wayne Roberson of NY and Kyle Zimmerman and Bobby Rohrer in hot pursuit. Roberson just won Night 1 of the TRIPLE CROWN at Raceway 7 and is looking to win all three events making it the first ever TRIPLE CROWN champion in the NE Region. Matt Latta finished second so he is only 1 point behind Roberson with Billy Henry Jr. only 2 points behind. Of course looking through the points below, its still anyones championship. It only takes one bad race to get behind or get gain a lot of points. 2012 WORLD CHAMPION Max Blair is expected to be at Eriez today and has started off in the hole as he wasn't at night 1. "Making up all those points is going to be hard to do" said FASTRAK's Brian Haynes. "Nothings impossible. I mean he is the WORLD CHAMPION so can he do it? Time will tell".
The Points battle is tight. Drivers are ready and the speedway is being groomed at 9:00 this morning preparing for one of the most 'prestigious' events in the NE.
