Richmond, KY – Richmond Raceway Promoters are preparing for the funnest event of the season; Back to School Extravaganza, on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Kids 12 and under will receive free admission, kids ages 5-10 will be competing for school supplies and trophies, children 4 and under will also have a chance to walk or crawl away with fun treats. Coyote 100.7 Late Models, Tax Wise Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman and Four Cylinders will all be competing.
Gates in the grandstand area open at 6:00, admission prices for this weekend are $12 for adults, children 12 and under are FREE! On the pit side the gates open at 4:30. Admission prices are still FREE to children 12 and under, and $30 for ages 13 and up. Pill draw ends promptly at 6:00 with the drivers meeting set for 6:30 and hot laps shortly after. Raceceivers are mandatory for every driver in all divisions at Richmond Raceway. These will be checked randomly throughout the evening. Be sure and show up with your grandstand armband from Butterball™, many specials and give-aways up for grabs!
Also upcoming is the 4th Annual Sportsman Nationals on Saturday, August 24. Many more special events are planned for the season. We’ll see you trackside at 328 Greens Crossing Road, Richmond, KY 40475. More information can be found at www.richmond-raceway.net.
