I had a leak on the front of my quick change. I removed the drive yoke and the seal plate to find that the seal plate was trashed. The inner ring that is machine for the o-ring was gone and letting it pour out fluid. I purchased a new seal ring and installed it this evening. After getting it all back together it would not turn over.
The washer (it looks like its just a dust cover) that goes between the yoke and seal is locking it down. If I losen up the drive yoke bolt it will turn over, but if I tightened it down it locks up. I took the washer out and tightened it up and its free.

not sure I understand you 100 percent but the tin plate goes in first then the aluminum seal plate and the yoke last. the tin plate is a splash guard to help keep most of the oil from the seal.
