I would think you would want MORE rear % and MORE bite.

Why are you trying to go the other way?

I run 57% rear and 180# of bite.

If it starts getting tight in the center, then add more LR bar angle.

I run a WT Harris UMP modified, and it has a little different rear set up. We run a half-leaf on the rear with a solid pull-bar connected to a reece bar but set-up wise, it's a 3-link. Speedbuggy's right about adding rear % to increase fwd bite (full of fuel my car is close to 60% rear) but to loosen the car from the middle off I add more RR bar angle. That increases thrust angle, and adds more RR traction which will loosen the car off the corner. And remember, it's better to correct a condition by adding traction (more RR bar angle) than removing traction (less LR angle). Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

With the limited power of the sportmods I dont recommend going much more with the rear % than what you have or your turn in will suffer. Your spring change and increased bite will definitely help.

Add some more bite and increase RR bar angle.

Did drive off improve?

Try increasing RF spring rate and raising RR trailing arm 1". Good luck.

Ok, you need to look to make sure you don't have something binding like a shock. It sounds like the car isn't transferring on entry. A binding shock on RF or LR can cause this. Take the shocks off and run them all the way through the travel looking for a sticky spot. Visually inspect the outside of the tubes to check for dents. I had a shock cause me grief this way once and the dent was real small. If you don't find anything there, put the car on jack stands, with the shocks disconnected and run the suspension through the travel to make sure there's no binding. If you still find nothing, increase the RF spring by 25#. This will help turn in and the middle. Good luck.
