Good evening, racers:
I am going to use an oil cooler on my wet sump SBC in my old pavement late model turned road racer.
I have looked into sandwich adapters and I like the Canton piece.
My questions are:
If the adapter has 1/2" fitting holes, is there any benefit to going bigger than -10 hoses (-10=5/8" ID) ?
Where is the best option for mounting? I could put it in the tunnel with a NACA duct from the right A pillar, but would have to go up and over the exhaust system.
Is there enough air flow if it is just mounted in the tunnel?
As usual, I welcome any and all opinions. If anyone has any photos of installations, I would very much like to see them.
Cheers,

RR

-10 lines are plenty big enough. Put the oil cooler in front of the water radiator. It will cool both fluids in that location. it won't do you any good near the exhaust or in the tunnel.

Thanks for the information. Does anyone have any photos of a nice, simple mount for a cooler up front?

Those are awesome photos, thanks!
Are the cooler brackets welded to the cross tube or clamped on?
