When a car is in full travel should the pullbar on the rearend go behind centerline or should it stay in front?

Thanks

The pullbar should NEVER go past the axle center line.

Depends on where your pullbar mounts. Some have it moved forward, some back just in front of centerline, some actually start off behind the centerline. What are you trying to accomplish?

Just looking at ways to improve bite....it starts about 2" ahead. Going to put a camera on it and see how far it does travel

Right or Wrong

I run mine 1.5" ahead It has 2.5" to 3" travel.
I start at 22.5* down and as it pulls thru its arc ( as it pivots about the axel centerline in the side view) it looses its angle
to extend its pull down the strait.

Seems to keep its bite rather than load and unload.

Initial bite or bite down the straight away?

initial, i put 3 deg more angle in it with a frame change and now it spins down the straight. so with the angle i have 16.6* its more everywhere but with less angle its initial. i like the 16.6* because it keeps the LF on the ground.

just looking at the car and theres 3 more holes on my bracket and im wondering what it will all do

This is a topic that a bazillion people are going to have a bazillion different answers. What kind of chassis do you have? and have you contacted them for support? Remember, you don't need all that bite when you can get your car IN and Through the middle faster. That is the key. Its not all about bite, same thing Jason hughes told me.
