Ashley Newman Races to Fifth Win of 2013
Mercer, Tennessee (08/27/13) – Ashley Newman powered his #73 Upton Motorsports/45 Race Shop/Best One Tire & Service/Bob Pierce Late Model to his 5th win of the season on Friday evening with a $1,400 triumph at Lexington 104 Speedway (Bargerton, Tennessee) in the Limited Late Model division!
Via his performance in preliminary action Ashley earned the outside-front-row starting spot for the main event in the 13 car field and went on to lead every lap to score the victory over Ronnie Cooper, Billy Tedford, Randy Todd, and Joe Reaves.
"The car was just awesome the whole night and so was the track," a happy Newman commented. "I can't thank the Upton family and all of my great sponsors enough for their awesome support."

The upcoming weekend's for Newman are still up in the air, but he may be joining his Upton Motorsports teammate, Kyle Beard, in competing in the 4th Annual Modified Motor Madness event at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) on Friday and Saturday, August 30th-31st.
