on small 3/8 track car ran great, 205/60/13 tiresand 3.45 rear gear gave 7500 rpm and good power. Moved to new track its almost half mile. Changed rear gear to 3.08 to control rpm. Ran this weakend, 205/60/13 tires 3.08 rear gear and rpm toped out at 6900 rpm before the end of the straitaways. Finished in last place. Would appreciate and help getting the combination right.

214 x 327 is 700 maybe try 234 x 308 is 720. depending on where you run on track high side or low side. The 720 might put you about 7800-7900

OR....get it hooked up better through the turns, keep more rpm coming off, you might be at 7500 with a good driving car.

327 rearend worked great, put rpm back to 7500. We borrowed some hoosier dirt tires, they helped the handling of the car.
