Eriez Speedway “September Sweep Weekend” Preliminary Friday Concludes with Davis and Scott on Front Row

(Hammet, Pennsylvania) – Bob Rohrer and the entire staff at the Eriez Speedway are very excited for this weekend to be putting on the BIGGEST (pro) crate late model race in the history of the tracks 3/8th mile famed history. This weekend Friday and Saturday September 6th and 7th the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Northeast/Southeast Touring Division’s will compete for $5,000 to win which is hyping up to be a must see race in the “Keystone State” of Pennsylvania entitled the “September Sweep Weekend”. The racing spectacular is also be a FASTRAK National race which will be pulling in the “best of the best” battling it out for $5,000 to win. Friday night was the Preliminary program for the Saturday $5,000 to win show. The event featured 30 FASTRAK Warlords ready to take on the 3/8th mile. When it was said and done 20 brave souls made the grade to not worry about nothing on Saturday except the feature.
The FASTRAK City Chevrolet National Touring Division had four groups of time trials with Chad Wright topping the speed chart with a lap of 16.444. In heat race action Bryce Davis, Dave Scott, Chad Wright, and Wayne Robertson collected wins. In his heat Wright cut a lap of 16.384, faster than his qualifying speed.

So with that said the Saturday action will conclude the “September Sweep Weekend” Inaugural event at Eriez Speedway. The B-mains and the 50 Lap FASTRAK National Feature will pay $5,000 to win when the race gets started it will be #94 Bryce Davis and #4s David Scott on the front row!!
