Upton Motorsports Drivers to Support American Cancer Society

Mercer, Tennessee (09/12/13) – Upton Motorsports is stepping up to the plate to help the American Cancer Society raise money. For the 7th Annual Gumbo Nationals, which will be held at Greenville Speedway on October 4th-5th, Kyle Beard and Ashley Newman will have special American Cancer Society wraps on their Super Late Models as they look to raise money and awareness for the foundation.

Businesses, fans, and racers are encouraged to donate any denomination of money (from $5 to any amount) and their name will be included on the cars in white vinyl or they may sign the cars at the track. You can donate at the track over the next 4 weeks or you can contact Angie Upton at 731-609-1592 or Angieuptn@aol.com for donations.

"We've all been impacted by cancer in one way or another and this is our way for the world of racing to help make a difference in the fight to cure it," commented Angie Upton, who owns Upton Motorsports with her husband, Greg.

All checks will need to be made to the American Cancer Society. For more information on the American Cancer Society, please visit www.cancer.org .
