Josh McGuire Enjoys Top Tens in One Epic Weekend at Brushcreek

(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) traveled to Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio from September 12-14 for the track's 'One Epic Weekend.' On Thursday night in the $600 to win weekend opener, Josh McGuire set fast time during the qualifying session, won his heat race, and later finished a strong runner-up in the A-Main behind only victor Mike Meyers. At Brushcreek on Friday evening, preliminary action was held for Saturday's twin $10,000 to win main events.

Josh clicked off the third quickest lap in his group during time trials on Friday prior to earning a third place finish in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the fifth row in the first 50-lapper on Saturday, Josh was able to move past three competitors en route to a solid sixth place showing. The top twelve finishers were then inverted for the second 50-lap affair and the Grayson, Kentucky native wrapped up his long weekend at Brushcreek with an eighth place performance. Complete results from 'One Epic Weekend' can be accessed online at www.brushcreekmotorsports.com.

The #41 team will stay in the Commonwealth of Kentucky on September 20-21, as they will travel to a pair of high-profile races. On Friday night, the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky will greet the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, as the 27th Annual ‘Ralph Latham Memorial’ will pay $10,000 to the winner. The doubleheader weekend will then wrap up with a trip to 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky on Saturday evening. The unsanctioned ‘Dirt Champion of the Universe’ race boasts a $5,000 top prize.
