CARTERSVILLE, GA – Rain has forced cancellation of the Volunteer Chevrolet 50 for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series on Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN. The race will not be rescheduled.
The next event for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will be Sunday night with the $3,000-to-win $300-to-start West Chevrolet 50 at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN. The pit gate opens at 5 p.m., Pre-race Registration and Technical Inspection will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.
The dirt late models in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series are powered by the production-based all-aluminum LS3 Engine that comes in the Chevrolet Corvette, the Chevrolet Camaro, and the Chevrolet SS that are sold at Chevrolet dealerships worldwide.
Race fans can see this engine, the race cars they power, and the men that drive them in the Chevy Fan Zone before the races tomorrow night. The Cars and Stars of the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will be in the Chevy Fan Zone for photos and autographs on Sunday night at Tazewell Speedway from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
