just wondered what everyone on here thought, our rules are pretty open chassis wise, and if I was to get a new car for next year, what would be the best choises for front and rear suspension? Camaro front clip? chevelle? and what would be a good rear suspension? we currently run a metric rear suspension and it leaves a lot to be desired sometimes. ive seen some leaf spring cars do alright here and there, but I don't know if its for me. we run 10 inch wheels, 2900 lbs.

What I tell guys , if I'm not building it , is to find a local winning car in the class you plan on running. The work is already done for you, and you will find out what works, without spending all season to figure it out . Have winning leaf and metric 4link cars , both work well , leaf is easier week in week out. Metric is more common .

I'd build a Ford with a Panther chassis (cv/gm)… second choice would be a 73-77 mid-size GM.
