pull bar spring travel ?

running a simple spring bar, preload is set at 650 lbs. travel indicator reads 3.5 inches , how much it to much travel?

2 inches is plenty. 3-1/2 is way too much.

Your spring is to soft for it's position on the rearend. Either move it up if you have the room an inch or use a stiffer spring. 1 3/4 to 2 inch is ideal
