With the smooth track and racing top to bottom the in car racing action is good, some went forward, some went backward, and one came back after a layoff. Steve Hanna made his return back to the dirt at Lakeside Speedway and the Cheese Works was their.
Tim Setzer held off local hot shoe Brad Smith in the 99 in his heat race but still finished 2in 2nd place.
Ken Schrader started inside 2nd row and made a journey back thru the pack.
Justin Johnson started beside Schrader and move up to 2nd.
