Dennis Erb, Jr. Wraps Up NDRL Season this Weekend with Pittsburgher 100

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Dennis Erb Racing team ventured south to the Peach State of Georgia on October 5-6 for a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events. On Saturday night, the historic Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia played host to the prestigious 'Dixie Shootout.' Dennis Erb, Jr. timed in seventeenth quickest in Group A during qualifying and later finished ninth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main. After taking use of a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lapper, Dennis was able to climb six positions on his way to a seventeenth place effort.

Sunday's $10,000 to win 'Rome Showdown' scheduled for the ultra-fast Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia was unfortunately wiped out due to inclement weather. Dennis still finds himself fifth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings following the trip to Georgia. Full results from Dixie Speedway can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Next up for the #28 team will be the 25th edition of the ‘Pittsburgher 100,’ which will be a two-day program this upcoming weekend sanctioned by the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania. Up first will be a $10,000 to win, 50-lap race on Friday, October 11, while the ‘Pittsburgher 100’ will wrap things up in a big way on Saturday, October 12 with a $25,000 winner’s check. Dennis comes into the final two NDRL events of the season fourth in the heated point battle behind only Billy Moyer, Jimmy Mars, and Josh Richards.
