16 year old Joshua Bishop from Statesboro Georgia led flag to flag to collect the crate latemodel victory at Oglethorpe Speedway's Showdown in Savannah .Starting from outside the front row along side of Dillon Wood Bishop put his Walter Newman Race car in the lead until a caution fell with 6 laps to go. Starting on the point with Mark Whitner along the outside Bishop again put his Walter Newman Machine in first at the drop of the green to collect the victory.
