two piece plastic roof

ok, finally broke down and bought a 2 piece plastic top instead of making my own from aluminum, i see where the two pieces over lap, do you pop rivet it together or glue it?

I would rivet or bolt it

Previously I used 3m VHB double sided tape but after a while it started coming undone. Now I use a couple rivets.
