The Southern Regional Racing Series is ready for action on November 2nd at Smoky Mountain Speedway for the 3rd annual Triple Crown event. We will once again be "tearin' the tops off". The 35 lap main event will pay $3,000 to the winner.
This event was originally scheduled as the SRRS season finale, but it will be the season finale for Smoky Mountain Speedway. This event will also be "Late Model Mania!" Street Stocks will also be competing. All late models will be TOPLESS!
Josh Putnam will come into the event with a 55 point lead over Jason Welshan. When the SRRS was at Smoky Mountain back in September, these two battled for most of the race. Jason Welshan will look to gain some points on Putnam, who is going for his second career SRRS championship.
We will have SRRS shirts (limited sizes and colors available). You should be able to follow the action on Race Monitor next weekend.
