Dennis Erb Racing Looks for Better Fortunes at Charlotte Following National 100

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Dennis Erb Racing team bolted south to the storied East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama for the 39th edition of the 'National 100' on November 2-3. The unsanctioned Super Late Model biggie drew 40 competitors to EAMS and all eyes were fixated on the hefty $20,000 top prize.

On Saturday, Dennis Erb, Jr. timed in twenty-sixth quickest during the qualifying session and later moved up to finish fourth in his stacked heat race behind only prelim winner Rick Eckert, William Thomas, and Jonathan Davenport. After starting the 100-lap headliner on Sunday from the outside of the seventh row, Dennis unfortunately succumbed to mechanical troubles under the hood during the 'National 100' and retired in the eighteenth position. Full results from EAMS can be accessed online at www.eamsdirt.com.

The Carpentersville, Illinois ace and his #28 team will look for better fortunes when they travel to the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina on November 7-9 for the annual running of the ‘World Finals.’ World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying will kick things off on Thursday night, with the first round applying to Friday’s card and the second round of time trials transferring to Saturday’s program. A $12,000 winner’s check will be on the line on both Friday and Saturday at the 4/10-mile speedplant, while each feature starter will receive at least $1,000. Additional information on the World of Outlaws ‘World Finals,’ which will also feature the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series and Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series, can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.worldofoutlaws.com.
