Has anybody ever heard of a gyro. Supposed to be some kind of an old school cheater device that has a centrifical weight. They were originaly used in police cars to improve handling. Anybody?

A gyroscope or however you spell it. The same principle as a top, you have a flat "flywheel" basically rotating in a concealed area, the car can still turn left or right fine but really can't roll. It has to be fairly heavy and rotate on a horizontal plane.

I would think the direction of rotation would be an issue. Is that right? Looking down from above I would think you would want it to rotate in a CCW direction.
