Just went to hook up an AUTOMETER MEMORY PRO COMP TACHOMETER 6821 0-10000 RPM. Usually there are 4 wires Green (MSD), Black (GRD), White (LIGHT) and Red (POWER). This tach has a Red, White, Black and then a 2wire wire looks light a lamp cord. 1 wire is black the other is black with white stripe. Any ideas?

So the double black can be used as a green wire? Going to an inductive pick up, this would be the msd correct? Or am i reading wrong?
