Conley Crowned 2013 Champion December 11, 2013 – Wheelersburg, Ohio’s Rod Conley was officially crowned the winner of the Impact RaceGear Championship for 2013. Conley was named as the champion at the annual Portsmouth Raceway Park awards banquet on December 7. Conley, driver of the #71R Rocket Chassis, Draime Racing Engines, Conley Trucking Dirt Late Model had a very successful 2013 also picking up the Portsmouth Raceway Park track title. “We were very pleased to award Rod Conley the 2013 Impact RaceGear Championship. The Conley Motorsports team have been longtime clients and friends to us. Rod was very consistent with top finishes, not just with our point system, but within each event he competed in.” Conley received a certificate valid for custom racing shirts valued near $2000 for his efforts. The Impact RaceGear Championship for 2013 was set up as a points system race with points being awarded in preliminary qualifying events. Points were totaled throughout every regular-season race at Portsmouth Raceway Park. Drivers were asked to display an Impact RaceGear decal to be eligible to earn points for the championship.
