Does anyone have any tips/ tricks for getting stuck on plastic off from aluminum? I've tried 'goof off' in addition to it not working very well softened the paint to the point that it would scratch with your finger nails. I've tried heat and cold to no avail as well.

Thanks in advance

What kind of plastic is stuck on the aluminum and in what way did it get stuck.

It's the protective plastic. I'm not sure what caused it to get 'stuck'. It just rear so toting pieces.

wax and grease remover.

Second that.
3M makes a spray can product that body shops use to clean the painted surfaces and remove adhesives from trim moldings. It doesn't really mess the paint up but will slightly degloss the clear. A quick wax brings it right back like new.

I had to roll it up on a small piece of conduit, or pvc pipe. one you get it started rolling , it should peel off.

Not sure of the intensity/cause of your problem, but any we ever missed seemed to blow off right quick when we pressure washed the car with our Hotsy. That would piss me off to no end if I had to deal with that, good luck!
