CARTERSVILLE, GA – America’s first “Factory Backed and Factory Built” super late model series The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will be a part of the 36th Annual Alabama State Championship Race at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL on September 25-28.
The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will run two races during the Alabama State Championships. The first race will be a 30-lap $2,000-to-win event on September 27, and the second race will be 50-laps paying $3,000-to-win. The two Chevy Super Series races during the Alabama State Championships will be the second and third events of the 2014 season at EAMS.
East Alabama Motor Speedway will present the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series on April 12 with a 50-lap $3,000-to-win race. EAMS held the second-ever CPSLMS race last season and William Thomas of Phenix City, AL took the win on his way to the $10,000 Championship.
Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series officials are continuing to finish up the 2014 Schedule of Events, and they hope to have it completed in the very near future.
The dirt late models in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series are powered by the production-based all-aluminum LS3 Engine that comes in the Chevrolet Corvette, the Chevrolet Camaro, and the Chevrolet SS that are sold at Chevrolet dealerships worldwide.
The racing version of the Chevrolet Performance all-aluminum LS3 engine is called the CT525 and it is in stock at NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton, GA with free next day delivery anywhere in the Southeast for $7,195.
