Whats the difernce between 09' blue rocket and the 13' 14' blue front rockets? Heard they changed the cross member to raise rack 3/4". What else is different? Did they change any of the front mounting points? Did they change anything in the rear suspension? 4bar mount design, lead, bar lengths? Thnaks for any input.

I heard the tail is narrowed. not sure if they have a shorter right rearend tube or what. They moved the battery again too.

If the 09car is still original then the 4bar brackets will be a little different, smaller holes for finer adjustment. Ya the rack is raised. The RR frame rail is in just a little bit but the axle length is the same, just a little more clearance so the tire won't rub the frame rail. They are selling guys on a shorter left side axle tube, but run a wheel spacer most of the time. Front bumper mounts have also changed.

Some of the New Blues Have the Orange Rear, I don't know if that Means Rear end as well Because the orange is different and they do run a LR spacer. Or its a Orange configuration with the same parts the baseline book doesn't specify It has all the same stuff Blue is still Blue and Orange was still Orange

I was just down at Rocket a few weeks ago and every car still had the battery above the LR

My 09 car and our 13 traditional blue car are virtually identical aside from the rack plate. (Battery boxes mounted in the same location uses the same width rear bumper, as well as rear deck bar.) Now, my 09 and our 13 orange cage - blue hybrid have significant differences. The rear clip is narrower on it and the battery is mounted in a different manner on it, it also does have a 1" narrower LR tube.

What if you put the 1 inch shorter left rear axle tube in the 09 traditional blue car?

Just loosens you up some. The cars with the orange clips are a tighter car so a lot of guys are going to the 1" shorter tube to free the car up.

Off topic, and PM me if you don't want it public but how do you like the Orange Car Talclipse?
