I don't race on dirt any more but I think the 214 trans and 327 rear would be a good combination to start off with.

2.34 and 3.27 yield 7.65 final drive and if u factor in the your 215/60 it gives u 7.03.

The best thing is to go to a test session and see what yourmax rpms are and where on the track and go from there

I run a 3.27 rear & T5 in 2nd (2.34) for the 7.65 final. On a 3/8 track with 60 series tires you will be around 8K at corner entry. I run 70 series tires with this same gearing on a 1/3 mile track & hit 76-7800 at the corners. Too many RPMs for a hyd head. IMO you will need taller tires or a 2.73 or 3.08 rear gear.

The 2.14 transmission will likely need a 3.45 rear with 14" tires.

I run a 3.80 with the 2.14 with 15's and a rollout of 88 on the RR. Not great for restarts, but once you get moving you fly by on the top.Thats an 8.13 uncorrected. 7300...Thats a high bank!
