i hear most guys are running alot more bite in their cars now. like 300 to 400lbs. wondering is that what most are doing and is it because new setup technology or higher horsepower engines?? also wondering if you run alot more lower trailing arm angle like 15 degrees do you drop your bite weight to kinda equal it out?? thanks

Run what ever it takes for you to get around the corner with some power applied and not spin out. For some they like a lot because they throw it in hard, for others that drive it in soft you would use a lot less. When I started I could not get the car to begin to turn with 285 (which I was told was a good starting point). I had to back it down 100 pounds to get around the corner. But as I got better at it that was way to loose. Currently I run around 350.

Most guys I know running 300 pounds or more that are really fast. I think the big reason is the last of natural traction created by a stock 4 link setup, so the additional bite is a good way to create forward bite for the car.

Bite as far as I seen depends on track conditions. If it's heavy I have to take bite out dry crappy I put it back.

My old car pushed with about 140, now down to about 60. As you know each car is different play with it and find out what the car and driver likes.
