Brady Smith Eager to Start 2014 Campaign During Speedweeks in Georgia and Florida

(SOLON SPRINGS, WISCONSIN) Brady Smith Racing is eager to head south to start their 2014 racing season for a couple of different reasons. Not only will the states of Georgia and Florida play host to much warmer weather than his Solon Springs, Wisconsin home, but Brady Smith is also anxious to debut new equipment, which includes new Rocket racecars and Cornett engines. In all and weather pending, Brady plans to enter eleven (11) high-profile Super Late Model specials at three different southern venues: Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida, and Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida.

Things will kick off at Screven on February 7-8 with the two-day ‘Winter Freeze IV.’ The unsanctioned doubleheader boasts a $12,000 top prize each night, while each feature starter will receive at least $1,000. Each complete show next Friday and Saturday evening will be headlined by a 35-lap feature event.

Next up for the #2 team will be a trip to Bubba Raceway Park on February 14-16, as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will start their national campaign with a trio of big showdowns. The ‘Bubba Army Winter Nationals’ will start with an $8,000 to win program on Friday, while the winner of Saturday’s blockbuster in Ocala, Florida will receive $10,000. On Sunday, the three-race extravaganza at BRP will wrap up with a $12,000 to win finale.

The action-packed “Speedweeks 2014” will then conclude for the BSR team from February 17-22 at the renowned Volusia Speedway Park. The annual running of the ‘DIRTcar Nationals’ Presented by Summit Racing Equipment will feature six straight nights of wheel-to-wheel competition at the Daytona Beach area speedplant. Two $7,000 paychecks are on the line on Monday and Tuesday at VSP, while the final four races of the week will pay $10,000 to the winner. Both the UMP DIRTcar Series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction three shows a piece at the 1/2-mile complex.
