CARTERSVILLE, GA – Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL has re-signed for 2014 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies season. Moulton Speedway becomes the 11th sanctioned track for the 27-week season that begins on March 24 and runs through September 28.
NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division drivers at Moulton Speedway will compete for a track point fund, and will also compete against drivers at the other ten sanctioned tracks for a National point fund using a system that will count their 14 best weekly point totals. The $5,000 National point fund will pay back through the Top 10 spots with $2,000 to the 2014 National Champion.
Moulton Speedway joins Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, MO, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS, Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS, St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, and Smokey Harris Speedway in Haleburg, AL has a 2014 NeSmith Performance Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies sanctioned track.
The top three drivers in the 2013 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies point standings, Champion Trey Bright of Coker, AL, Runner-Up Kevin Spears of Fayette, AL, and third-place Calvin Cook of Pace, FL, all won sanctioned races last season at Moulton Speedway.
