has anyone tried eliminating that part... we are running the short pierce pull bar with a 90/10 shock and feel that it is an unnecessary part. has anyone taking it off????

how are you going to set your pinion angle , if you get the right pullbar you can get rid of the lift arm(2way).

Im confused what your asking. Are u talking about a brake floater? Car either needs a pullbar or liftbar. Do you have both?

on the clamped up pierce car.. we have a pull bar and a brake or torque arm i believe is what the call it. it is a lift arm with just a chain on the end to catch the car on corner entry no spring ont it.. it is also used to set pinion angle..we upgraded to an afco pull bar with the brake bushings and didn't feel we needed that bar anymore... was just wondering if anyone else has taking it off and just used a pull bar... don't see why it wouldn't work just use it to set you pinion angle.... anyone have any input....

you can take the lift arm off and set your pinion angle with just the 2 way pull bar know, the pullbar pierce uses and sells is a 1 way pullbar, thats why they use the lift arm set up. i dont run the lift arm, so your answer is yes you can take it off.
