Yes you can. Not terribly difficult. Pull back the rubber boot and there's a set screw. Once the set screw is out the entire end threads off of the rack.

The slotted ends also make setting the bump steer much easier.

Yes you can use the same rack with the same ends. I did not measure the spacer between the rack and frame but it looked 1/8. RF needs the small spacer that comes with a sweet rack at the rack nothing at the spindle. LF needs 200 thousandths at the rack and I think 1/2 at the spindle.
If it is different i will correct as soon as have time to get to te shop.
