has anyone switched a pierce car over to the new improved centerlink from afco and did you have to change inner tie rod ends or outer heims ends

Its not a new and improved from afco. Its a standard centerlink on a 1982-1992 Camaro, that afco found out some of us racers were using so they put them in their box and ran adds that apparently work.

IMCA found out and made it illegal, thanks to afco and their need to re box and re name and try and sell parts to racers at more than they cost at the parts store.

Yes, they work, you can buy one like Stockcar racer said. I ordered one for about $30-40 on rockauto. Switched to camaro inners at the same time to get better clearance on the frame.

ok we already use 80 Camaro inner tie rod ends but and heims ends for outer tie rod ends but with this new center link my inner tie rods don't clear the frame

the cross member needs clearanced. You can take off the skid plate or grind it down. If you do not cut it off, then you need to take off at the idler arm or pittman arm to install tie rods. See picture here of a bandit car with it removed:
