Pinto manual rack n pinion

Anyone use a steering quickener with a manual rack n pinion on a pinto ministock ? Would a power rack with no pump be better than the manual rack???

i did and it worked fine i also ran a fox body rack with power assist and no pump but had to machine the hydraulic servo valve to have it work correctly

I use a power rack with a quickener. No probs.
