I got a 79 camaro...Right now the track has to be tacky and the car just takes off and is good. But when its goes dry it just wants to spin. I know everything is trail and error starting out. I've tryed different things and just looking for any suggestion's. I have scales on order but they wont be here until nexted week. current set up is...front springs 800LF 1000 RF..Rear springs 175 LF 200 RR.. front shocks are boht 7-4's and then the rear 5-3 straight across. I have messed around with the rear shocks but it didnt really change a whole lot. I race on a high banked 3/8 and i'm thinking part of the problem with the tires spinning is the gearing. I'm only turning 6800 max running the high side. car weighs 3000lbs and i have lead bolted on LR. I'm kinda thinking the front spring split is to much

forgot to add the wheel offset's are 2 off's in the front and a 2 off LR and 3 off RR....I would run a 4 off but it hits the leaf spring because were running 10" wheels on Slicks

Split is off up front, and I would flip the rears as well.

Got some odd shocks kinda busy. Until you don't have anything else to adjust I would keep it simple. 5 or 6 on Rf and 4 or 5 on Lf, a 5/3 is Ok for Lr but I would think a #200 spring and a 5/3 on Rr is way too stiff won't let it roll over. I have run 3/5's on my Rr or just a straight 3 when I ran a camaro.

Camaros are a crazy breed all together. I miss mine but not the inconsistency.
