View Full Version : Need Tips on how to set up the afco centerlink on metric car

Having trouble on figuring out how this works on metric. Turns sharp to the Right but not left. Not sure how to correct and keep idler and pitman arm parallel. Any info/help would be great.

If it's the ds-1049 centerlink off a mid 80's Camaro the Idler arm and the Pitman arm wont be parallel. Set your LF wheel straight with the Pitman arm straight (steering box centered) and set your toe. The Idler arm will angle out toward the RR wheel.

idler and pitman wont be lined up, you just put a wider center link in
