its good to have for fuel slosh, but ive had it come apart and fill my fuel log , so they say replace it every year or two.

some guys like it.. some don't.. We had the same thing happen bob75... Got a new roller once and the wrong foam was in the cell.. Gas ended up causing the foam to fall apart into small pieces... clogged up the fuel system and starved the pump of gas and broke the key from the fuel pump to the dry sump pump.. what a mess...

Had a friend years ago put PVC pipe in his cell with holes drilled in it. Worked well but I prefer no foam.

wiffleballs

I've heard of this one too but never tried it. Seems like it should work.

Lol. But how many wiffleballs would it take. Imagine the look on the cashiers face.

I believe I have around 130 wiffle balls in my tank, these are the one's that are just a hair bigger than the normal fuel lid opening. Installing them is kind of a pain since you have to take the lid assembly off. Also need to install a fitting and a piece of pvc tube so you can "stick" the fuel tank to see how much is in there.

Bought a car that the cell had 3 1/2" corrugated septic drain line pipe with holes already drilled in them, seems like it worked fine. Didn't take them out, don't know if the bottoms were cut at an angle or not.

I used PVC pipe in my stock car fuel cell. Worked well, but it did take about 2 gallons of capacity away.

I have had foam in cells and no foam. I never could tell the differance in how the car drove.
