411, NeSmith officials announce weather plans

Seymour, TN – It’s no secret that this weekend’s weather forecast is iffy at best. As it stands at the time of this posting, there is a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday, with some storms possibly becoming severe. Saturday’s forecast is better, once the day wears on. Saturday has a 60% chance earlier in the day. With that being said, 411 Motor Speedway officials and NeSmith Dirt Late Model Touring Series officials want to get the word out to their staff, competitors, and most importantly, our fans, of our weather plans. Thursday’s weather is great, so we’ll have practice on Thursday night. However, should Mother Nature force us to revert to “Plan B,” we will move Friday night’s program to Sunday afternoon, and Saturday night’s program will be ran as scheduled on Saturday night. But, as of 5:00p ET on Wednesday, everything is still on as originally scheduled. Stay tuned to our social media outlets for the very latest!
