Ponderosa Speedway Test and Tune Day Rescheduled to Sunday March 30
Junction City, KY-March 28, 2014- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson and his staff were set to hold the track’s annual test and tune practice day on Saturday afternoon March 29, but rains during the early morning hours on Friday and the forecast of more wet weather on Saturday March 29 has forced the track move its practice day to Sunday afternoon March 30.
The test and tune practice day for Ponderosa Speedway is now set for Sunday afternoon March 30. The pit area and grandstand area will open at Noon, with practice laps set to begin at 1:00 p.m. and concluded around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Admission in the general admission will be FREE, while a pit pass for the Sunday afternoon matinee practice session will be $15.
The 2014 Season Opener is still set for Saturday evening April 5 as the track will begin its 42nd season of racing action featuring a full program of racing competition for Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, and Pure Street Stocks.
