Can someone explain what the difference is on mounting the rr spring in front,on top,and behind the housing on a 2-link. Have the option to mount spring either way I know the spring on top works ,but just don't understand how with as much as it is compressed. Also does it make a difference where you mount the spring with what pullbar you have we run either a solid or springbar. Just looking for a little help we are not bad till it is black slick adn we lack foward drive thanks for looking!

with my 3 link car, spring on top was best overall, spring in front loosened on throttle and behind was good in slick but to tight with any moister and car 3 wheeled to much

When the spring is in front or behind the axle, motion ratio is differerent,. In front you will need more spring and behind less spring than on top of the axle. Alot of people get loose on black slick, give more details about your car. lower tires pressures, too much rear stear, too much gas at once, wrong shocks, wheel offset, stagger, not enough angle in left lower bar, DRIVING STYLE !!

Yes and thank you I know this is the mod section but just wanted to ask. We have a clip car weights 2800# with 2brll motor 11.1 360 it is a 2-link 16" arms lr at 20*and rr at 10* have a solid pullbar at 28" and 18* of angle j-bar one hole up from center of pinion and 5"of split. Springs are on a camaro clip lf 700# rf 750# lr225# rr on top 200" car has 53% left 53%rear and 48%cross seems to respond to less bite#. Also was thinking of running a spring bar with a 800# had 2" offset all around and 1" stagger if front and 2' in the rear and rr back 1/4". Entry not bad seems like just sliding and not sticking the rf then buzz the tires. Thanks for looking and any help!
