Bloomington and Brownstown Next Up for Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series April 25 and April 26
Glasgow, KY-April 17, 2014- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will present its first doubleheader weekend of racing action with events number four and five of the 2014 racing season on Friday April 25 at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN for the 1st Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial and Saturday April 26 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN. The event at Bloomington on April 25 will pay $2,000 to win and $200 to start, while the event at Brownstown on April 26 will pay $1,500 to win and $200 to start.
The trip for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series to Bloomington Speedway will mark the tour’s fourth trip to the Hoosier State ¼ mile red clay facility that has been racing since 1923. The four last visited Bloomington in 2011 and event winners that season were Ryan Thomas of Gosport, IN and Clint Demoss of Bloomington, IN, while John Demoss of Bloomington, IN (2010 series champion) won the tour’s first-ever trip to the track in 2010.
